Forcecage & magic immunity

Does forcecage affect creatures with magic immunity? My players wanted to forcecage (no save, no SR. Barred cage version) an anaxim (epic level handbook p158, outsider construct with magic immunity).

Does the magic nature of the cage indicate the anaxim can just move through it or is it trapped inside? As the forcage blocks etheral travel, the anaxim can't use it's ethereal jaunt ability.

Yes, it does affect creatures with magic immunity, and the anaxim would be trapped inside. Magic immunity equates to unbeatable SR. The "SR: No" entry means that it doesn't help in this case.

Yes, the creature is trapped into the forcecage I use the same spell or force wall to trap and separate creature in the same encounter, specially if the creature have magic inmunity.

Also make sure the creature is small enough to fit in it. Even though it occupies 20'x20' or less space the creature might be taller than the 20' cube.
