Forcewave custom spell

I'm working on a new spell for a player in an upcoming game and I was looking for input. This spell is based on one that Zedd often uses in Legend of the Seeker, if you have seen that show. Does this seem like a suitably powered 2nd level spell? What would I need to do to make it a 1st level spell? Reduce the range to a 15 foot cone?

Forcewave
2nd-level evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self (30-foot cone)
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous
A blast of magical force erupts from your hands. Each creature in a 30-foot cone must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone.

The knocking prone part might be a bit too good.

Comparable abilities:
Monk - Flurry of Blows, can use 1 Ki to get two chances to knock prone OR push back (plus some damage), single target
Warlock - Eldritch Blast + Rebelling Blast = push back with a cantrip on single target, plus normal Eldritch Blast damage
Grease - 1st Level = 10x10ft area, only falling prone (Dex save), no pushback, no damage
Sleet Storm - 3rd Level = 40ft radius, falling prone (Dex save), no pushback but comparable benefits, no damage

How about making it 15ft and only pushback on level 1? Level 2 gives additional knocking prone and each level above 1st gives 5ft extra range?

Alternatively you could also make it two saving throws. First Str Save to prevent pushback. If pushback happens, then Dex Save, if that fails as well, additionally knocked prone.

Seems to me if you compare to Grease, 2nd level is fine here. In comparison, your spell includes the push and has a significantly bigger area. But Grease sticks around for battlefield control and can be placed more flexibly. I don't think your spell is worth more than a 1 level bump vs grease.
