You could also simulate it by making the area of the spell dim light for one minute, more for flavour than anything else.

Not a bad idea.
Official WotC woukd probably just convert the spell as a big sun Scepter that hits fo a large amount of radiant damage.

Spiritual Guardians does that already. Its mostly an NPC spell might get used by a heretic or towards the end of the game.

The rest coukd be used by NPCs and a player though. I'm going to convert the dead 3 spells as well. Battletides easy.
