Forgotten Realms (and others) Maps Navigator

Hey Guys,

I don't if somebody else did this too, but you can access a full map of Forgotten Realms, using the same interface of Google Maps, in:

http://www.maplib.net/map.php?id=196

Actually, it uses Google Maps API. It's very nice for campaign tracking, etc. You can also make it work with any picture you have. I think the site also features a map of Middle Earth. You can also put the map inside your blog or wiki.

What do you think? Usable?

Ummm... YEAH! My only wish would be if I could see the back-end code for this. I'd love to see how it works and possibly make my own variations, rather than "having" to use someone else's hosted map.

The Google Maps API has everything you'd need to know:

I'd love it someone did this for Ptolus- the map is detailed enough to go all the way to street level, just like a real map.

That is fun. I wonder if it can switch to more detailed maps on close-ups... for instance, the more detailed map of 'the North' included with the Silver Marches book.
