The Table of Contents for both Heroes of Faerun and Adventures in Faerun.

Picked the books up this morning and love what I’ve seen so far. I’ll answer whatever questions I can here.

Having read the section in Heroes of Faerûn about the Red Wizards, I have a question: what happened to Thay that requires reconstruction? It mentions that Thay needs help rebuilding, but the gazeteer doesn't mention why. Am I missing something?

The Wiki doesn't really shed light on it, Thay had a nasty Wizard civil war 100+ years earlier. Does the section about the Arcane Empires say anything?
 



There seems to have been some Thay-centered material in some AL modules, thst may be an allusion to something there?
Perhaps! I'm not sure. I find it weird that they never explained it in the book though, you'd think they'd want that lore to be readily available.
