D&D General Forgotten Realms Books Tables of Contents

The Table of Contents for both Heroes of Faerun and Adventures in Faerun.

Picked the books up this morning and love what I’ve seen so far. I’ll answer whatever questions I can here.

The only change is that Dragonborn did already exist on Toril but they were very rare.

It's perfectly simple. FR has a ridiculous number of sentient species, and more are added every time some supplement or monster manual is published. If they all came from other worlds there would be twenty spaceships landing every minute.

Having read the section in Heroes of Faerûn about the Red Wizards, I have a question: what happened to Thay that requires reconstruction? It mentions that Thay needs help rebuilding, but the gazeteer doesn't mention why. Am I missing something?

The Wiki doesn't really shed light on it, Thay had a nasty Wizard civil war 100+ years earlier. Does the section about the Arcane Empires say anything?

It does not. I reread that section to make sure, but it doesn't mention anything catastrophic in that section.

Perhaps! I'm not sure. I find it weird that they never explained it in the book though, you'd think they'd want that lore to be readily available.

Nope, just the section in Arcane Empires, and the section about the Red Wizards faction.
