/me says the f-word...
So, 5 minutes in the FLGS (and a decent memory) and I get that FR names are tied to the language spoken in the particular region (already mentioned above).
In Aglarond they speak Aglarondan(sp?) and their names seem pretty Tolkien/Realms standard.
In the Great Dale and Thesk they speak Damaran whose names sound quasi-Slavic.
The people of Rashemen speak Rashemi(sp?) whose names are also quasi-Slavic (though slightly more melodic than Damaran names).
In Thay they speak a variant of Mulhorandi and their names are similar to those of pre-Arab Egypt.
And thnx 4 ur help!
