Forgotten Realms; Will it have overpowered feats?

If we go back in time to 2001, we will recall the release of FRCS 3e and the fact that it featured overpowered feats as compared to the rulebooks. Heck, everyone was porting over the regional feats to their own games, they were that good.

Anyone think we will see something like this again? Over powered feats, powers, class (swordmage) in the upcoming FRCS book and its forthcoming players guide?

My hope is that different campaign settings have different feats and powers that are unique to that setting and are substantial enough to warrant there existence.

Playing in the Forgotten Realms should feel, on some level, different than playing in Eberron.

It's a fine line between substantial and broken.

I hope they have learned from past mistakes.

Also, feats are less powerful in general this time around, so unless they go completely overboard I don't think you have to worry.

It the case of the Feats in 2001, I personally ported them over more because they where actually interesting fluff-wise unlike the rather dull ones in the PH, rather than due to their power. (Although IIRC, yes some where a bit OTT.)

@ Mort: You have a goodpoint, but there are only somany powers they can squeezein there. Fluff is good when its encompassing, just having a few powers and feats named differently IMO wont make it work.

But I digress, I just hope they don't go overboard. With the powrs the way they are, introduce one overpowered power and suddenly you start disbalancing other things. With feats its not that dangerous, but even there Iwould like them to follow the examples set in the PHB and stick to that power level.

I hope all the extra/overpowered mechanics in FR and in ECS goes into the spellscarred and dragonmakred abilities. That should keep them from affecting our own personal campaigns.
