I read the books twice at least.

The first time I noted on the inside cover a page and name/item/place of interest. This was my general guide to the Darksun campaign.

When ever there a conflict in times / places/ people I used the best fit for the series and what I had envisioned. Thus much of Rise and Fall's creation of the Sorcerer-Kings was kept and overruled the prior origins. Over a score- there were more races and destroyers of these races that what was in the core books and novels. I had fun creating and describing these "forgotten" sorcerer-kings and queens.

Has anyone ever tried to recreate the stats of Sorcerer-Kings / Queens using the novels as guides?

Most of these villians were Level 20 sorcerer / 20 psion / 2 dragon / and anywhere from 2-20 fighter. Borys would have been a level 20 fighter/dragon/sorcerer/psion !!!! level 80!

This is a playtest release of 6 epic prestige classes, including the Athasian dragon and the avangion; more than 30 new epic feats; over 30 epic spells and power; over 30 artifacts, both conversions and brand new ones; as well as a collection of epic monsters. The final version of LoA will include stats for Athasian epic NPCs, including all sorcerer-kings; details about Athasian epic organizations; and more epic spells and monsters.
