I voted no. Spend the same, get a lot more. I for one am very pleased with my subscription and see no possible reason that would change any time soon.

I voted yes, because I used to subscribe the print mags and bought the odd crunch book in 3e.

However, I never planned on buying nay crunch books aside from maybe PHB2, so it's hasn't really saved me a lot of money.

It has saved me a lot of time, prepping the game. And you know what they say, time is money. :p

But I do enjoy knowing they're supported in the Character Builder, Compendium, etc., so that I can easily use info from them electronically. Makes it much easier for me to use the material in game having the electronic version, too.

I'm pretty sure my spending on wotc gaming stuff is slightly up overall relative to my 3e average. Its certainly up relative to my start of 3e. And definitely knowing that I'll have good electronic integration is a big plus. Buying the spell compendium, for example, was awesome; then I thought about how much work it would take to add all that into DMGenie.

It's hard to tell because my RPG spending is so variable--still, I'm going to vote 'Spending More'.

As far as 3eD&D went, I just purchased the core books and the few suppliments that piqued my interest. In 4th edition, I'm doing the same thing, but I'm also shelling out $60 a month for DDI. (And, for the record, getting more than my money's worth from it.)

I will likely spend less money due to DDI.

The Power-books would have been a defnite buy for me without it, but judging by Martial Powers, the books don't offer much added value over the listing of mechanical elements - and this is covered by the Compendium and the Character Builder.

My spending didn't change with regards to WotC books. I still buy just about all of them. I do spend less on 3pp stuff, since there isn't as much being released.

Same here. I'm really liking my DDi subscription, especially the mags and the character builder. I feel like I'm getting my money's worth now, and in the future it will be even better. :)

My RPG spending is down dramatically, but not because of the DDI. The lion's share of my spending was always on D&D books, and since we're no longer playing the latest edition that money has been freed up. That may change in future, but I doubt it.

Most of my spending is now on Pathfinder products from Paizo, but I also expect to be spending some money on Warhammer and Star Wars books this year.
