Sounds like 6 interesting articles. The first was a bit meh, and the PHB3 playtest race will probably also be so-so interesting. But the rest sound awesome.

AAUUGGHH!!!

One of the concept proposals near the top of my list of things to send to Chris Youngs, when I had a brief lull on my schedule, was a winter-based arch fey!  :.-(

I'll get you next time, GadgetBaker!! Next time!!

(That's it, Keith. I'm teaming up with Rich Burlew to take you down when you least expect it!!)

Joking aside, if someone had to beat me to it, I am glad it was Keith. I've seen his work on fey-based stuff before--even published some through Lion's Den Press, back in the 3.5 era--and it's top notch. :)

But I'm still going to sit here and seethe with envy for a little while. :p

Now you know how I felt when I saw dragonborn wings implemented as a Paragon Path in PHB2! :D

Tanks, Shroomy.

... You mean besides the one in Dungeon 162 "Winter of the Witch"? :)

I'd actually be curious to see something not related to the Seasons. Something like the Fey of the Hunt (The Wild Hunt?), or Harvest, or perhaps something ethereal like Delirium and Dream. Or nature-y, like a Dryad turned up to 11.

Come on Elan, for the Race PHB3 Playtest!

I also agree Rechan, I would like to see some Fey stuff not related to seasons, or specifically nature as well.

Thri-Keen be cool too. If it is Elan or Thri-Keen I will be quite, quite happy.

As for Fey, yeah and also Dreams and Delirium as you stated in your previous post. I think it be cool too to see what urbanized Fey be like, what if their section of the Feywild melds over somewhat with a city. How would that influence them, etc.

Oo! Maybe someone themed after the Pied Piper.

There's also the Spring Heeled Jack, as far as urban fey are concerned.

But I think an "Urban Fey" would basically be like brownies/elves (of the little shoe-making variety), which were domestic faeries that lived in your walls and looked after your home.

Also perhaps the "Great Muse"; a fey of inspiration and music. But of course, a little bit mad, and one that can easily catch one up in their passions.
