Since I'm doubtful at this point that we'll see an actual 4th Ed OA book, seeing as they have this campaign setting a year deal, you may very well have a point.

This is interesting and I don't think I've heard it before. Where did you learn WotC will be doing a "campaign setting a year deal" and what does it entail? Does that mean the first year will be Forgotten Realms? What follows that, Grayhawk?

2008 = Forgotten Realms
2009 = Ebberon
2010 = ??
2011 = ???
etc

I am pretty sure each setting will get two books (campaign guide and players guide), and a handful of adventures specific to the setting. Possibly more/less adventures depending on how it's received.

There have been random snippets of news here and there that at some point some of the released settings will be some old classics that will surprise and excite many long time gamers... so rumor abounds that it will be Dark Sun or Mystra or Ravenloft. (my money is on Dark Sun or Mysrta)
