I voted for Monsters, Templates, and Classes.

I do NOT want monsters and templates in dungeon. Because that means I have to hunt through the adventure PDFs every time I want that monster statblock. Just put them all in one convenient little place (like the kobold article last month) and I'll be HAPPY.

It would make sense to put them in Dungeon. Just keep them ina seperate article from the adventures.

So the Ecology articles should go there too?

And the article about designing monsters, because that's for DMs too.

And the articles for campaign setting classics.

And the Codex of Betrayal articles about individual devil princes.

And...

There goes a lot of Dragon content.

Shrug... Just saying it would make sense.

But since you end up with both when you buy a subscription to DDI, guess it doesn't matter so much.

I'm kind of surprised that templates have ranked the lowest. They were one of the best innovations to come out of 3e and I was glad to see that they were continued in 4e.

Also, that the epic stuff ranks relatively low doesn't surprise me, but why is there no monster love? I love monsters. Bring'em on!

Finally, I voted for everything except for full classes. I liked the artificer playtest, but a full class just takes up so much space.

I don't know if this is already covered in the "Ecology of" articles, but something like the old "The X Point of View" from the earliest Dragons would be good. Concentrating less on mundane details of a race, and more on racial outlook, how they fit into a world, how the other races view them, etc.

I wouldn't like that either, _unless_ they are added to the D&D Compendium Database with links to the articles. The monster section would have to be searchable by role, origin, type, level, etc. of course.

Heck, they could do something like a random encounter creator:
Select a level and the number of players or an xp budget and get a selection of appropriate encounters (e.g. one for each of the encounter templates in the DMG). Each monster is either listed with a reference page or a link.

Wouldn't that be extra neat?

I voted "classes". This does not mean that I want a new class every month, but rather that if there's a chance I won't have to wait a year or two for classes I would've liked at release, I'd be all for that.

cheers
