Former WotC Customers, would resuming pdf sales bring you back?

Inspired by this thread: non-switchers:...

For those of you who used to purchase WotC products, but for whatever reason stopped patroning WotC; If WotC did nothing else, would resuming sales of pdf's get you to start buying their products again? (Not necessarily get you to play 4E, but purchase WotC products again: settings, rule books, adventures, miniatures, DDI, Dungeon, Dragon, etc.)

If not why?

For the record. I think the decision to stop online sales was a dreadful one. I think the company ought to be selling pdfs of books (new and old) at a substantially lower price than the hardcopy versions. I think they'd make money.

That said, I doubt I'd buy anything. I have no interest in buying any 4e books, and I was able to get almost every 3e book I wanted for cheap after the new edition. There are a few that have gone way up in price that are very useful (Stormwrack and Spell Compendium come to mind) that I might have bought if they'd been available in this fashion, but if they started selling pdfs now I doubt I'd buy any. It certainly wouldn't get me to change my mind and try 4e. As long as I can get 3e and PF online (Free!) and have a library of great cheaply bought material, there's no reason to spend money on whatever WotC is selling.

It'd get me buying the PDF's again, rather then acquiring them by other means. Other products I'd judge on their merits. So I suppose it depends if you'd say a purchase of WoTC PDF's 'brings you back'

I would buy pdfs of their older products if they brought them back. I was looking at their minis at Borders yesterday and I can see myself buying them when they are on sale over at FRPGames or some other similar place.

Voted 'yes', but should have been Other - I boycotted them awhile after the pdf sales withdrawal, but I've just ordered Dungeon Delve and some dungeon tiles, so I guess they didn't have to do anything.

OTOH, if they hadn't withdrawn the pdfs, I might well have bought an awful lot more 4e stuff. And I would certainly have bought more OOP pdfs.

My players are just plain into something less crunchy. They want turns to come round fast and more roleplay, less battle. pdfs aren't really a factor but as a GM html is way more useful.

I just don't particularly like WotC's D&D products. They're not making anything I like, and it would require an utter reversal of the direction they've taken D&D over the last 10 years to even get me to consider buying one of their new D&D products. That said, I still do buy Magic cards and Heroscape items, and other than the fact that I don't like what they've done with D&D, I don't have anything against the company.

I bought .pdf's before they took them off the market. More importantly, I directed my players to purchase .pdf's for my campaigns. Obviously, I can't do that anymore. Instead, I direct my players to free downloads of various retro-clones.

If WotC were to make the .pdf's available again, I'd certainly purchase some more .pdf's. But, for no other reason than not wanting to change my campaign materials again, I don't think I'd redirect the players to the .pdf's.

No, they'd have to release something that interests me. I don't like 4e, so I'm no longer a customer. However, I think the rules might actually work with Dark Sun and I'll probably give that a go. If they really want me back they'll make Alternity 2nd Edition. I have a hunch that might not happen.
