I've played with them some and seen them played with some more. They really don't do it for me. The extra fiddly complexity they add at the table isn't worth it for the modest benefits they provide, but if the benefits were bigger the cards might distort game balance. So, I'm not a fan.

Haven't had a chance to use them since I unfortunately haven't had a lot of time for gaming lately... :(

I want to mess around with them though- I like the concept, and I think these combined with like the deck in the shadowfell boxed set thing, and some of the others can make for some fun times.

They are handy for a a few bonuses, but not really worth the hassle. I have a ten card deck i use for 'Encounters', that i've made from rewards and promtional packs i got. I think at most i've used two cards in one encounter. There are times that they turn a miss into a hit, more often they are just one more thing on the table, taking up space and not paying rent. Their net effect is barely noticeable, i'd say, certainly not worth any investment of cash or hassle.

Didn't see a poll option for my view:

-I haven't used them, and would not use them as designed, but could see creative uses for them by DMs (as bonus treasure, etc).

I do not think I will be getting them.

First, they are not easily available over here. (Always a consideration)
Second, they seem an undeserved power-up for the players.
Third, they are another fiddly bit at the table, and 4E has enough fiddly bits already.

I voted have not/will not, but I don't really begrudge their existence for the people who want to use them. There's enough going on at our table already I think without another pile of thingies that we have to remember taking up space.

I made up 8 10-card decks to suit character archetypes:

Defender 1
Defender 2
Melee Striker
Ranged Striker
Controller
Leader
Misc Support (the "anybody can use these" deck)
Chance (all the Gambler cards and Reckless cards)

At my three groups (DMing LFR, DMing home game, playing home game), I've handed the decks out to appropriate PCs and we've given them a whirl. So far, I've had inconclusive-to-positive results. I gave them to my LFR players, and they seemed to like them. My other two groups forget to use them for the most part, but in one of those cases we're all learning new characters right now, so also learning cards is a bit of a hassle.

They don't outright hurt anything, though, so I'll keep giving them a shot.

I got a similar impression: as presented, with players drawing them every round, and building their own decks from boosters, I don't like 'em, either as DM or player (even though I got enough free cards to build a perfectly good deck). They add an extra step to your turn, and drawing a card at the start of your turn can cause you to re-think the actions you'd been considering. If players use them seriously as presented, they slow the game down -more often, I see players simply forget to use them.

They're just not a good idea, as presented. The same cards, sold in complete decks as a DM accessory, OTOH, have a lot of potential.
