"5-disc set"???

I thought the SE contains 4 discs: 2 discs for the 3-and-a-half-hour movie, a bonus feature disc, and a National Geographic documentary disc.

What's in the fifth disc? Eminem doing the "Hobbit Rap" music video? Gawd, I hope not. That is one way of ruining my favorite fantasy literature forever ... that and a bunch of Tolkien Purists screaming in my ears about Peter Jackson is Satan and his movie is sacrilege.

Umm...you're a little confused both extended sets contains the film on 2 discs plus 2 discs of extras. The collectors set (with bookends) also contains a fifth disc which is an extended version of the National Geographic Doco. Thus 5 discs. Well, aside from the UK which doesnt get the fifth disc due to some rights issue.

Well, it arrived this morning. A very happy boy am I. Only 7 days from Canada.
