[FR] Adventures in Westgate

Raflar

First Post
I'm starting a new campaign in Westgate in the next couple of weeks and wondering if anyone had done any work on that area? The PCs will be part of a 'private investigation team' that mainly hires out to the City Watch. (but will do personal cases as well). The main focus will be unsolved cases and a mix of X-Files and C.S.I.

I'm looking for info on the Nobility and on the Night Masks (thieves/assassins guild) mainly. I have the FRCS and the 2nd ed. Cloak & Dagger, so I know the basics. If anyone has done any expansion themselves or has any ideas for adventures (cases) please let me know. Thanks.

Definitely, Lords of Darkness for the Night Masks and the Fire Knives.

You could also check out my FR story hour for inspirations (I think the Westgate scenes start in Heroes of the Vilhon Reach, part II...the "of their past" link in my sig, below.

I really did some cool work on the Monks/clerics that control the arena...The Quivering Thumb, the Fire Knives and the Night Masks.

DOH!!! thanks. I totally forgot I had that book. I think I need to reorganize my stuff better. Just thumbed through it, the section on the Night Masks looks pretty good. Thanks for reminding me about that one.

As for Villian's Handbook I think one of my players has that one, I'll have to check. But like you said i can just DL it too.

I just finished creating all the Heraldry for the Westgate Nobility, going by the verbal descriptions in Cloak & Dagger. If anyone else is playing here and would like them just let me know. (They're all in GIF format in 2 sizes (300x600 @ 150dpi, and 150x300 @ 72dpi) I also have the small ones all on a pdf.
