FR campaign, modules, encounter thingies

Just wondering what the good modules or whatever the name is that eludes me at this moment are for forgotten realms, or ones that aren't campaign specific.

Silver Marches ones would be good, but any area is workable.

Are we talking for 3e? Not much (aw, heck, there wasn't much for 2e FR either).

For FR3e: City of the Spider Queen, Pools of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor, and Into the Dragon's Lair.

City of the Spider Queen looks very good. Higher level, lots of detail and maps. May have a questionable premise, though (won't say - spoiler).

Pools of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor is mediocre. Decently written, with some good NPC motivation/details. However, the maps are absolutely *abysmal*. Prepare to do a lot of re-mapping of most locations.

Into the Dragon's Lair: I've only skimmed my copy very briefly, so I can't reasonably comment on it.

Generic modules:
I recommend looking at other threads on this board. There are some good discussions of what generic modules are good. I'm personally partial to: Rappan Athuk I,II,III; Tomb of Abysthor, Vault of Larin Karr, Siege of Durgam's Folly, Hall of the Rainbow Mage, Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, The Banewarrens, Demon God's Fane, Sunless Citadel, Forge of Fury...

All of these should be easily fit into The North and the Silver Marches region, except The Banewarrens (I put my version in the Vilhon Reach).

Halls of the High King is an excellent module, it's in 2e though.

the very old supermodule called the Desert of desolation is also fantastic, get the updated single supermodel version not the older three module version

If you don't mind 2e and a bit of work fleshing out the details, Ruins of Undermountain 1 is a hell of a module/setting. Avoid the second box, though!
