Not that this will help you in the short term, but I was under the impression that WoTC was producing a setting book for the Unther, Thay, Mulholland area......

Is this correct, or am I delusional???

As it turns out I am not delusional. It is the Unapproachable East due out in May.

I believe that Unapproachable East will feature further south of Unther and Mulhorand.
In 2e the Unapproachable East was all the land east of the Shining Sea area, that is, Halruaa, Durpar, Var, etc.

thanks scott. prespos' site is pretty freakin cool if i may say so. he was one of our "FR gang" that used to hang out all the time back in the day, when TSR was hosted on AOL.

You are both wrong. Halruaa, Durpar, etc. are in the Shining South. The Unapproachable East is constituted of Thay, Rashem, Argoland, etc. Unther, Mul, and Chessenta are known as the Old Empires. Whether or not such a regional supp will come to light is not yet known, but it would be my best bet for what is coming down the pipe next given the criteria some of the design team laid down for the regional supplements on the message boards.
