FR racial feats for PHB2 races?

Legend
The Forgotten Realms campaign books offer feats such as Moon Elf Resilience and Sun Elf Grace to accentuate the specific racial lineages of Faerun - you're not just an Eladrin, you might be a "pure" Sun or Moon Elf.

Is there any such feats for newer races, such as the ones from PHB2?

I know FR was released before PHB2.

Does this mean each new PHB will contain races that get less and less support? (Only the PHB1 races getting the full attention from each and every other book and campaign supplement)?

I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you think feats should be published for upcoming races before those races are published, themselves?

I think he is asking "Have there been any racial division feats for the PHB2 races since that came out, and if not do we expect any to show up in the future?"

Basically I think he is wanting to know if Dragon Mag, or similar, has shown any indication of this trend being extended to other races.

In that case, I'd go back to saying Dragon would be a great place for those to show up. But no, I haven't seen them yet. :)

I assume that the Eberron player's guide has some good feats for shifter that you might be able to implement in the Realms if you want Shifters to play a large role. Otherwise... Nothing yet. I hope this does not become a trend like the classes that were released later in the 3.5 era who had almost no support outside of the random splat book that they were introduced in.

No, my concern is that PHB 17 races won't be supplied with nearly as many support options than PHB1 races.

Specifically, the PHB1 races will (based on the current publishing history) have support from Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dark Sun, and fourteen other campaign settings (by the time PHB17 arrives).

The PHB17 ones will only have support from the very last campaign setting.

That is, unless WotC sometime in the future start to add support for previous settings back in for newer race options.

Of course, you could argue more racial feats only makes a race more flexible, not more powerful. As if: yeah right.

One must also consider the importance of said racial-line feat for the established campaign setting itself.

For example, Sun elves and Moon elves -are- an established and important part of the world that requires some form of attention.

Svirfneblin.... not so much.

I can see Shifter stuff being important to Eberron, but I wouldn't expect to see a lot of support for genesi manifestations.

I think that it'd be more appropriate to put out a book that was, um... well Racial Power would be an easily misconstrued name for a book, but it's something I'd not mind seeing them come out with.

True.

However, if you don't take any precautions, humans, elves and dwarves are likely to end up in almost all forthcoming campaign worlds, and these are likely the ones in "need" of further subspecialization.

I mean other races are sufficiently "exotic" to be treated as a single entry.

This also pushes toward a future with lots of feats for PHB1 races, and almost no feats for PHB17 races.
