The thing is, I've heard that is just a future Drizzt musing about the past and doesn't reflect the campaign setting or the timeline of future novels. Fair enough. I could have sworn that there was a blog somewhere talking about how in 4e Cormyr Azoun V was coming of age, which would make 100 years impossible, but I can't find it.kheris said:The 100 year jump is believed by some fans to be accurate, but WotC has yet to release any official info. They have some Realmslore articles slated for January, IIRC, so we may hopefully find out in a few weeks.

Well, the novel is described as a preview of 4th ed(by WOTC) and it is Drizzt musing about the state of the world as it exists in 100 years and the events that led up to it.Stone Dog said:The thing is, I've heard that is just a future Drizzt musing about the past and doesn't reflect the campaign setting or the timeline of future novels.
