Free Adventure

Maybe adventure is the wrong word . . .

For what it is. All of your complaints are valid. Consider it as more of an "adventure seed" that's slightly larger than the average one or two paragraphs.

It's my feeling that what was once in the temple would have been destroyed in the fighting and most likely burnt in the fireplace as time went on. Not many goblins are willing to hike through the forest when they can just burn the stuff around them.

But I'll keep your comments in mind the next time I create something that's intended for someone other than myself.

Fair enough?

I say if its free don't whine

Or you'll end up missing the really cool free stuff like Phils spellbooks

You piss off the hand that feed you by moaning about little things like where a Cleric breaks his wind and you'll end up wondering why you have to pay for stuff that was free awhile ago.

Back on the subject why not just doodle up a map of a second story an whalla the cells for sleeping the shrine for praying the latreen for ...well ... you get the idea.

Perhaps temple is the wrong word mayhaps its a shrine or holy site or what have you

I liked the article in Dragon # 293 that talks about small gods perhaps its just one of those small gods ( An ancesteral spirit in the fireplace or what have you)

Wow, thanks.

But I didn't really feel bothered by his post. Looking over the adventure I can see where some people would have problems executing it.

<Cheap Plug>

If you like my spellbooks head to http://www.rpgnow.com where I've released a PDF book, 101 Spellbooks, Tomes of Knowledge, and Forbidden Grimoires. The books are about 21 pages of the PDF while another 13 or so are dedicated to the skills and spells in the books. The book uses pre-existing OGL and new stuff so I priced it at $3 (since only 75% of it is original material).

And don't worry, I'm still posting free stuff to the site. This was actually the first negative commend I've seen about anything I've placed free on my website.

I wasn't necessarily saying that you were angry however I was telling him that whining about free material is a no-no its would be like whining about finding a hundred bucks on the ground, or Thumbing a ride and getting picked up by Jennifer Lopez, you just don't do it.

My mistake- I thought it was appropriate to offer feed-back, even on free material. Especially if prospective customers would be making judgements about the quality of a publisher's work on the basis of said freebies.

Thanks!

I haven't had a chance to read it yet but I always appreciate the work that goes into coming up with adventures and adventure ideas.

When other people do the work it means less thinking for me. ;)

I appreciate the feedback.

And, as I said in the response, will keep your comments in mind when I work on something new.

Feel free to comment about anything on my site. I may not always agree with you* but I do benefit from the feedback.

*You in the global sense and not just *you.*
