Free Heritage USA Games at Reaper

On Matt Forbeck's blog I noticed that Reaper miniatures put up a bunch of Heritage USAs old minigames up for free download here. Included are such games as Barbarian Prince, Grav Armor, Dragon Rage, Outpost Gamma and others.

Although I never played any of these, I do remember seeing them in stores. Now, I'll have to try some.

Yeah, the Dwarfstar/Reaper site has actually been there for a few years now. I'm a big fan of Barbarian Prince, myself. Thanks for letting others know about the site, though :)

I noticed that when reading the history (after I posted this). Still, it's a great resource that I didn't know about, so....

Maybe it's time for a "great free games" thread?

How about a "Great Free resources" thread (that way we get links to lots of cool stuff, games included).

But those are all RPG specific. Googling for things like "free wargames" can turn up other good lists.

Well, those are good lists of free games. I meant to include stuff like. . .

Mr. Gone's Character Sheets
Blaster 219's Character Sheet Archivehttp://blaster219.blogspot.com/2006/12/character-sheet-archive.html
Rich Staats' World Building Articles
Print-Fu Online Printing

. . . and so on. Which reminds me. . . now that the D&D Counters site is offline, does anybody know of a good resource for free D&D counters?

However, we've had dozens of threads on this sort of topic (i.e. RPG related resources). Non-RPG resources, like these games, aren't included.

Yes, this is an RPG forum, but these sorts of games are very closely related.

I've missed every single one of them then. I see the occasional "free RPGs thread" but I've never seen a "good RPG resources thread" ;)

There was the 1000 RPG links thread that lasted forever (and might even have hit 1000). Maybe someone with search can find it.
