Well, Gencon has been over for almost three hours now. I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who was interested in our products enough to collect their free swag. Enjoy!

I've just seen my first livejournal post recapping the gencon experience, which is a good a sign as any that not only is the Con over but also that folks are going to start drifting back to torture us with stories about their weekend :)

In other words: I'll be closing the giveaway here.

My thanks to everyone who participated in this thread, especially those that took the opportunity to check out a CGW product for the first time and those who e-mailed to tell me how much they'd enjoyed our PDF's in the past.

If you get the chance to use our PDFs in a game, or if you have any questions or comments, feel free to e-mail me or drop us a line on the CGW forums and let us know. I'm always eager to hear how our products are being used or how they can be improved, and the CGW freelancers are the same.

By now I've processed all the e-mails that I've recieved, so if you still haven't received an e-mail or download link let me know - I'll try to rectify things as soon as possible.

Hmmm, I sent in my request(minutes after replying to this thread), but never received a reply... I don't know if Yahoo ate the reply, of if you never got my missive. :(

No problem. I think Yahoo ate the first attempt to mail a download link to you, so I've sent another one. If there's any problem this time around, let me know and we can organise an alternate method of getting you your PDF of choice.

For anyone else who on the thread before the cutoff but hadn't yet e-maiedl me your choice for a PDF, I'll still process your requests. Just let me know your screen name in the e-mail :)

I ended up buying another 4 PDFs from Clockwork Golem. It should be fun integrating them into my campaign. :) Thanks guys!

Major convention centers are often booked years in advance. Add in a certain disdain for certain types of conventions, and you get scheduling problems.

People are asking for July dates for GenCon, but GenCon LLC is getting stuck with August dates. Comic-Con International (the San Diego Comic-Con) would love August dates, but keeps getting stuck with July. So here's my proposal.

No, it's not exchanging conventions, it's exchanging convention center staff. Indianapolis gets San Diego's convention center staff, San Diego gets Indianapolis' convention center staff. Since SD likes sticking fan cons with July dates GenCon will occur in July, and since Indy likes August dates for fan cons, Comic-Con will happen in August. Problem solved. :D

It's not just that. With the Brickyard 400 the first weekend in August there are no hotels availalbe either. They have to schedule around that as well as when other cons go.

Got it this time! :D Bugbear Feats & Throwbacks - Looks very cool, the loping ursine theme seems to put them in a very different niche than most Goblinoids. Fits well with some of the Bugbear figures by Reaper Miniatures too. Silent, patient predators - ambushers rather than chasers.
