Make sure to ask your FLGS to participate. Last year so many folks tried to get in at the last moment that was a nightmare.

I actually mentioned this to both of the FLGS in my area early in the announcement phase last year. I've already emailed one of them (the other participates in pretty much everything anyway).

I love the idea of this! Too bad the nearest game store to me is 100+ miles away. And since oil prices have reached ludicrous speed, I doubt a trek that far for some free game stuff is out of the question.
