This three-act starter mission is set in North Africa as the agents are sent to support the Operation Terminal landing in Algiers by taking out a Vichy radio mast and heavily guarded experimental shore battery. I just hope something terrifying and beyond human understanding doesn’t emerge from the depths of the sea…
If you want a bit more depth to the inventory system of your favorite RPG, we have two new options. The first is RPG Backpacks + from Story Peddler is a slot-based inventory system designed with survival and exploration style games in mind where every item takes up a slot in your backpack based on the size of the object (similar to the iconic inventory system of Resident Evil 4).
Our second inventory system comes from Deficient Games called The Deficient Inventory and is also a slot-based system with a visual element as the printable 8x11 sheet describes your inventory and you use sticky notes to specify where the items are stored between your body, pockets, main hand, or off hand with bonus space for additional Strength or Constitution.
Uno Critico’s To Hell and Back is a one-shot 5e adventure inspired by Greek, Norse, and Egyptian mythology. Your 5th level characters have arrived in Ithica at the behest of Odysseus for a voyage with an unknown destination, but your heroes will travel with one of the greatest leaders of the era in pursuit of honor, fame, and fortune. Candela Obscura is becoming pretty popular for third-party products as we have another investigation for Critical Role’s system from Nostromo’s Reliquary with The Descent sending the investigators on an archeological expedition deep beneath the city.
Tim Gangwisch has an adventure On Cloud9 for 1st to 3rd level characters for Cities Without Numbers. Your job is to snag Steelceps Rana from the club Cloud9 and get away with everybody alive.
This week, we have several full rules systems to try out. Starting with Sparks from Team No Capes, this fantastical RPG lets you play Spark Keepers, individuals blessed with a powerful spirit known as a Spark. Together, you and your Spark navigate a world teeming with corrupt organizations, magical beasts, and people in need.
The new game Postwake from Megakill Ultradeath Chokeslam Deluxe Of has a gameplay gimmick I don’t think I’ve seen since the original Wraith: The Oblivion: You’re not alone in playing your character. Each player takes on the role of a traveling hero who has made mistakes in their past that caused a malignant but powerful spirit to become trapped in their body with them. Each player controls their own character but also the spirit of one other player’s character. Over the course of the story, each traveler must come to terms with their internal counterpart or be overcome by it.
From Rowan, Gook & Decard, we have a one-page folk horror game from Grant Howitt set in a bad Christmas film titled Christmas is Coming. You’re on a family roadtrip when a snowstorm hits, forcing you into a quaint and picturesque town that comes with its own holiday traditions…
Speaking of holiday horrors, over on Dungemasters Guild, Thomas Kolar brings us yet another new Domain of Dread for Ravenloft. The McElminster House is a house standing on a nexus of many Domains ruled by the Darklord Kefin McElminster, a small child who was fed up with his family due to their bullying and neglect wishing only to be home alone…
With the increased emphasis on the metaverse coming in 2024, some players may not be that familiar with the various planes in D&D. Krank Kemps & Dennis Prince want to make that easier with Fun with Planes Introductory Adventure, an adventure for 1st to 3rd level characters that starts in the backward town of Narubel but quickly draws them into a maelstrom of chaos coming from an ambitious mindflayer, sending the party across six exotic Planes to thwart the illithid’s pursuit of godhood.
One final holiday adventure over on Storytellers Vault, Here Comes Santa Clause from Erica Mahoney is designed for use with the Fragile Innocence Chronicle but the stats and guidance for this Horror can be adapted to other Chronicles of Darkness campaigns.

Mike Shea aka Sly Flourish has a bundle of his Lazy Dungeon Master series of advice books. The Lazy Collection includes Sly Flourish’s DM Tips, The Lazy Dungeon Master, Return of the Lazy Dungeon Master, and a workbook to help you cut down on prep time. I’m so sorry for the length, but there’s another Shadowrun bundle so you know I’ve got a lot to say. The Shadowrun Third Edition MegaBundle lives up to its name featuring the Shadowrun Third Edition Core Rulebook along with the “core sourcebooks” (technically rules expansions but considered by most players essential) of the Shadowrun Companion, Man & Machine (cyberware), Cannon Companion (guns and combat), Magic in the Shadows (magic), Matrix (decking), and Rigger 3 (vehicles and drones) plus the world update State of the Art: 2063 and 2064, the GM screen and Critters supplement, and the introductory adventure collection First Run. And that’s just the core collection as the setting collection adds on fifteen more supplements including the setting introduction book Sprawl Survival Guide (sure there’s rules in it but its strength is bringing the Sixth World to life), the setting books Shadows of North America, Shadows of Asia, and New Seattle, the adventure hook filled event books Renraku Arcology Shutdown, Year of the Comet, and System Failure, the NPC collection Mr. Johnson’s Little Black Book, the adventures Brainscan and Corporate Punishment, and because somebody’s mistake is your gain, the 2nd Edition books Aztlan, Corporate Shadowfiles (which is an incredible guide on the sort of shenanigans megacorporations can get up to), and the just fun to read Paranormal Animals of Europe. The big bundle from Humble this week though is the Pathfinder 2nd Edition Legacy Bundle from Paizo. Thsi bundle features a full library of Pathfinder 2e books in their original, non-remaster format with all the OGL content still in. The base level gets you the Beginner Box while the second tier adds in the Core Rulebook and Bestiary 1 & 2 and the top tier gets you Bestiary 3, Advanced Player's Guide, and GameMastery Guide plus a lot more for a total of 25 books. Also spread throughout the tiers is the complete Age of Ashes adventure path plus several stand-alone adventures, map packs, and Lost Omens setting guides and player option books.
The Cartographer’s Vault Bundle has been extended yet again with the full-featured software designed specifically for creating maps for TTRPGs. The base level includes five maps as examples of what you can make, the second tier adds on 13 more map collections, and the top-tier adds on eight more map collections plus a lifetime license to the Campaign Cartographer 3+ software complete with a random dungeon generator.
