First image in this article is for “Owlbeard Academy”, and the artwork is revolting to me. Does anyone else get a physical reaction to obvious AI art? Like, the “uncanny valley” feeling but I feel it like a rock in my belly.

Relieved to see Enworld be pro-palestine, tbh.
I hope support of this bundle means that enworld is pro-peace, pro-medical aid. Making it about being pro-Palestine (or pro-Israel) just plays in the hands of the extremists on both sides who want their opponents, well ... just gone. Sadly, that's what most of the "solidarity" seems to be about these days; a lot of it is playing right into the hands of the Hamas fascists whose stated goal is to kill as many jews as possible, as demonstrated on the 7th of octobre. Sadly, there's preciously few initiatives that connect their calls for peace with one for the release of the surviving hostages of that mass-murder, mass-rape event which was a direct expression of Hamas' ideology. Free Palestine, by all means - but that includes freeing it from Hamas, who are using Palestinian civilians as shields and have started this current war (quite knowingly right when Israel was starting to normalize some of the relations with its neighbour states) to create as much bloodshed as possible on all sides. Because that has been their way of "winning" for decades now.
There's a really good article by RPG author Samantha Hancox-Li about all of this, by the way.
If the bundle is about providing medical aid to Palestinians, I wish it as much success as possible, though, even if I might not agree with their wording.

Mod Note:
EN World has no problems with community efforts to provide humanitarian aid. If everyday folks need food, clean water, medical aid or the like we are happy to boost signal on those efforts.

At no time should this be viewed as EN World taking a stance on political topics.

Nor should the presence of a bundle raising funds for humanitarian aid, among a stack of other bundles as we usually report on them, be seen as open season on discussion of those politics. Please take that to some other venue. Thanks.

Are you saying that Enworld is NOT pro-palestine?

Mod Note:
Moderation posts are not an invitation to discussion.

Medicine, food, and other aid for people in crisis zones, whatever their cause--natural disasters, epidemics, accidents, wars--is absolutely a humanitarian issue, not a political one.

Extremely sad to see so many people and organizations failing to condem a genocide.

Mod Note:
EN World has a rule against discussion of real-world politics. Please take your discussion of such topics to other venues.

Please, folks, do not pursue this further in this thread, or on this site.
