If you want an alternative for potions for your games, why not try a nice cuppa? Jefferson Chalmers released Tempest in a Teapot - The Art of Brewing Tea with fifty recipes to magical tea brews with unique effects along with new feats and new magic items.
In my ongoing game, in the city, there is a tea house. There, the lovely gnome Meriska will gaze into the eyes of her customers. She divines their essence, who they are, who they were, how they feel today... and then blends each customer the perfect blend.

So... I had to buy this.
