It’s never too early to prep for your holiday one-shot, and Gold Mountain Games has a wintery one for Wintertide: A Holiday One-Shot. This adventure sends the 3rd level party to a mysterious island that appeared off the coast of Watester to investigate the frozen land. This adventure was originally created to support the alcohol and substance addiction charity CThree with support from horror writer Chris McAuley (Stokerverse) and actor Claudia Christian (Babylon 5).

Au Contraire Publishing released The Haunted Spaceship, a rules-lite RPG about an AI discovering its personality and purpose after the crew you were created to serve has died.

Charity Bundles and Sales

Critical Role is holding a charity live stream for Red Nose Day with your donations affecting the game. Several polls have been set up decided with your donation dollars deciding things like which class everyone is playing and what events will occur during the game. The live stream takes place on November 28 at 5 PM Pacific (8 PM Eastern, 12 midnight GMT).

Game designer and artist Jennell Jaquays was recently hospitalized with Guillain-Barré syndrome and has a long road of recovery with 2-4 weeks of hospitalization and 6-12 months of rehab ahead. Jennell has been a part of roleplaying games since almost the beginning publishing the fan zine The Dungeoneer and The Dragon in 1976 and has a career with TSR, Chaosium, Steve Jackson Games, West End Games, Flying Buffalo, and more and if that wasn’t enough worked in video games with Coleco, Epyx, Interplay, Electronic Arts, id Software, CCP Games, and more with multiple awards to her name.
