I think it's very helpful. I'm not assuming that just because a name appears on this list, that the publisher has never done anything wrong, but I've noticed a number of names coming up repeatedly, and figure that those have good odds of a good experience.

Well. you never can tell. I wonder what sorts of responces I'd get from the freelancers that money just didn't get to them.. And they had cash handed to them at Gen Con, via a staff member from another company who I was able to wire transfer funds to. Or the other artist from Brazil who finally got paid via an Amazon Gift certificate, because money never seemed to get to them and that seemed the best solution.

Oops.. I'll stick out of the thread from a publisher standpoint from now on. But thanks for the great comments from people. I truly appreciate your support.

From a freelancer standpoint I have to say, I've had nothing but great results from dealing with Bastion Press.
