It would irritate the board members who cannot so easily afford such a post raise and have to go through all the hard work of raising it the old fashioned way.

I know Darth likes to play 'catch-up' with the hivemind when she gets the chance, but if it'll get people off my back I will not post more than five times in a row.

It depends on one's posting habits. I like to type/post whatever is on my mind.

Well, one is the normal amount, but two happens very often anyway. Sometimes posts are logically or stylistically separated for readability.

I agree that a whole bunch of consecutive posts from one person can be tiresome, but it doesn't bother me when it is in off-topic.

Frukathka, go find a PBP to join. Post to your heart's content and liven up somebody's game. Then you are having fun on EN World and nobody will hassle you for it. I generally like your posts, but I do mostly read them in other areas of the board.

Yeah, I try to keep from posting too much consecutively as well, but it realistically doesn't happen. Particularly when I post only to find that somebody else posted before I finished typing and I want to reply to that new one--that's one of the biggest causes of any multi-posting I do. Well that and my PbP games where I like to give each character their own SBLOCKed post if they are away from the rest of the party.
