I made a bet on our forums that it was some type of mapper since they did work on one... From the grapevine at the con, it would seem that may be true.
*shrug* It's speculation until something is announced, so I guess we'll all just have to wait and see.

ETools was handed over to the CodeMokeys, who've apparantly worked quite hard to get lots of fixes in.
Clearly, Fluid did a lot of mapper work under the original MasterTools concept that became irrelevant - but which I'm sure they would like to see sold in some commercial way. There was also talk that they had secretly worked on some internet play.
Obviously the character/creature generator would be the heart of any D&D tool, but its now in CodeMonkey hands.
So, how would all that work out?
