Hey all, Im looking for 3 players to play in a d20 Modern Game called Miami Storm. The basic premise will be 1981 Miami, FL(Think Scarface-esque). The PC's will be Miami Police Officer's, who are forced to go undercover and take down one of the largest Drug Rackets in Miami. Very action packed, a lot of vehicle combat and gunfights, a quick warning, some of the scenes will be a bit violent and gritty(But nothing WAY Extreme).

Needed rules will just be d20 Modern Core Rulebook.

Only prerequisites will be Law Enforcement profession and characters are 3rd level, also, all PC's get as standard equipment a .38 Revolver, 60 Rounds, and the party as a whole will have a vehicle assigned to them at start of game.

Heya Dralon,

Sounds interesting. It would be my first D20 modern game, as I don't have the book yet, but should be getting it soon. So if ya don't mind a newbie in your game...(I shouldn't be THAT much of a newbie, since it's all d20, but I'm sure the different ruleset will take a bit of learning)

Hey CANdo, good to have you. Yeah it's no problem at all, once we get 3 players Ill post a RG and you can make character there whenever.

I'd love to take a crack at this. I've never played D20 Modern, but I've read over the rules.

Hey man, good to have you onboard. To answer your questions:

1:Yes, Investagative is cool, you can make background as a Detective instead of a Street Cop.

2:Yes, 5 is a good number for Wealth, seems like a Average Cop Wage.

More questions, how we doing stats?

If I read correctly, 5 + 2 for investigative would give +7 wealth total? Does that sound right?

Also, how many action points would we start with?

I dont have my book right now, but 7 would be right, if You have the Windfall feat it adds, or ranks in profession.

As for action points, the Class you pick states how many you earn, like 6 +1/2 Character Level Rounded down.
