Astral Admin - Mwahahaha!
As a starting position, obviously people will disagree about how different film heros could be specified in terms of d20Modern classes. I'm just starting this thread as a bit of fun, and if you have alternative visions for any I post, just add them in here!
I thought I'd start with a couple of classics (ignoring attribute values or the full details)
Bruce Lee
I picture him as the ultimate martial artist, and this is the closest that I can get while still remaining simple.
Fast 4 / Martial Artist 8 / Soldier 8
I chose this combination in order to maximise the potential martial arts damage... Assuming that as Soldier he takes weapon focus in unarmed combat. The Advanced Martial Arts feat lets him crit on 19-20, the soldier class ability ups that to 18-20. His base unarmed damage is 1d10 (from living fist) +4 (from greater specialisation), his BAB is about +17, giving him 4 attacks (plus an extra one if he uses flurry of blows).
Jackie Chan
I see Jackie as a much more complex character (and not quite as high level), he doesn't portray such kick-ass fighters, but comes over as tough and fearless, while using all manner of improvised weapons.
Fast 3 / Tough 1/ Infiltrator 2/ Daredevil 4/ Martial artist 7
Because of his prediliction for doing his own stunts, and the physical punishment he often takes I added in a tough level. The Daredevil levels give him his fearlessness, his instant stand and action boost (to reflect his luckiness). The infiltrator levels are to give him the improvised weapon benefit, since he typically uses every kind of implement known to man to fight with (!). Finally I round it off with enough levels of Martial Artist to give him the flurry of blows class feature.
Who would you like to add to the list?
