D&D 5E Fun, Short, Free(?) 5E Adventures

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be back with my old gaming group for the holidays, and we're eager to get the old group together and try 5E. I've played a few sessions and it's been great.

Since we don't have a ton of time all together, I'm looking for a fun, quick (and preferably free) adventure/module to run for them while I'm there. Can anyone point me towards anything? We've all started playing Hoard of the Dragon Queen in our separate local groups already.

The Lost Mine of Phandelver from the starter box is fun and quick, but it isn't free (but is pretty cheap).

Ask your local game store for any of the D&D Expeditions games. Some of the Organized Play adventures are short/intended for single-session.
