Funko Pop! in Trouble

It started out with Megalodon teeth but I ran across a sweet trilobite a few years ago I managed to get for a song and it was on.
Caitlin Kiernan’s early novel Threshold has things to say about Georgia trilobites, drawing a their experience as a paleontologist before turning full-time to fiction. They turn out to be things that do not make the characters glad to know. Lovecraftian things. Great stuff.

I was just thinking how that fossil looks very much like something you'd see in a dead man's study in Arkham.

I saw a funko pop of Roger Taylor from Duran Duran in a Walgreens. But looking it up they also have one of Roger Taylor of queen. I think this is the problem. How many people want either of those Funkos?
There are definitely some out there because the overlap between Funko-friendly people and Queen or Duran Duran fans will almost certainly exist. What I wonder is how many of them are likely to be within shopping distance of YOUR local Walgreens? Does the person in charge of ordering for that Walgreens know there's an active Duranie community nearby? Or did they just get a bunch of semi-random Funko figures based on whatever was current at the time?
The mind boggles.
