Furious Assault and Area Attacks

Does Furious Assault apply to all targets hit in a burst or blast, or a single target hit?

You know, I really can't tell.

My impression is, single target ... 'cos the trigger is a hit.

But ... it really could go either way.

I asked the same question earlier . I think RAW it adds to the damage of area attack so every hit target would get the extra damage; BUT balance wise it should only effect one.

I would stick with it only adding damage to one target.
