Oh, I'm sure Disney would just copy/paste from Robin Hood. I figured the community here would be more original.

Instead could we get Muppet Lord of the Rings? Gonzo is Frodo. Sam Eagle is Gandalf.

The stereotypical choice would be Kermit as Aragorn and Miss Piggy as Arwen, and it's not without merit.

If we're doing it muppet-movie-adaptation style, at least one main character needs to be a token reputable human actor. I'm guessing it'll be Orlando Bloom as Legolas again, as it seems to be impossible to keep him out of Tolkien movies.

I was thinking Aragorn would be the one token human. Merry and Pippin need to be annoying so it's a tossup, to me, whether they would be Scooter and Elmo, or a couple of chickens. Animal as Gimli and Floyd as Legolas. Miss Piggy as Arwen or Eowyn. Probably better as Eowyn, as then she wouldn't get the guy.

If Gonzo is Frodo then Pepe has to be Sam and very likely Fozzie is either Merry or Pippin. If the Human Character isn't Aragon then Kermit will be and Piggy will absolutely play Arwen and if he's not she's playing Éowyn to his Faramir.
