I know some of you were following the development of FuturePSI, my attempt at a new psionics system. The original thread can only be found in the ENWorld archives, here. I've been a long time gone from working on it, but I'm about ready to readdress the system - with a fairly new approach.
Inspired by the magic systems in EN's Elements of Magic and 93's Magic: the Science and Art of Causing Change, FuturePSI is being redone for greater versatility. No more specific psitalents to determine precisely what you can and cannot do. Now, Psitalents are general representations of your skill level in a psionic category... like "Telekineses I" or "Telepathy III". These talents give you access to a wide variety of psionic effects. The effect, and modifying factors, you choose determines the Concentration DC required to make the power happen, and the rest time between this power and the next.
Work has begun on this revision, but it's very early. Stay tuned, and I'll keep you up to date.
