FYI: SRD update today

Y'know, color me pleasantly surprised that they kept a lot of the psionic races. I mean w00t!

This rocks. It's at times like these that I wanna give WotC a big manhug (and the inclusion of the deity powers means that the Deit-A-Week is a go! Kickbutt!)

To quote Usher, Ludacris, and Little John, "Yeah." :)

Can't wait for that material, for various reasons.

'Tis a shame about Fraal, Mechalus, and Sesheyans, though.

EDIT - waitaminit - I thought that Mechalus were included but they are not - am I mistaken that they were in the Menace Manual?

Do they have another name? If not, can you give a general description?

Mechalus were from the Alternity Game a few years back, same as Fraal and Sesheyans were. Mechalus were a cyborg-like alien race, whose hallmarks were:

-Bonus to computer interfacing due to little tendrils in their hands that could grow out and interface to a computer directly
-Attempt to maintain a strong control on their emotions because their race was extremely violent in the past (Vulcan-like tendencies)

Ring any Menace Manual Bells for anyone?

Mechalus weren't in the Menace Manual (they might be in d20 Modern). Instead there was their Dark*Matter analog The Sandman (which was a template), which I notice has not been removed.

Cool deal. Neat that they've updated epic feats from newer books, although I'd love to see the complete list of feats (as well as spells and other crunchy bits) from the "Complete" series, but I'll be happy with what I can get.

Also very neat that they've confirmed that at least some aspects of d20 Duture will be made available. I'll definately have use for that.

Woohoo!

Psionics, DDG rules, and menace manual, all right!

So WotC adds their ghoul template to OGC along with the ones from Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary, Gar'udock, and Slayer's guide to Undead.

Cool - I suspect that many writers have beeen waiting for the Divine ranks and powers rules to be added specifically. It will be interesting to see what will come of this from the 3rd party community.
