Gaaa!!!! I need a Low Magic System!!!!

Mongoose's OGL Horror uses a magic system that is very similar to Call of Cthulhu D20's, it also has a sidebar giving a framework to convert standards D&D spells to said system.

(Not to mention the Feat based Psionic system, or the divine "miracles".)

Wow! Thanks, Grazzt!! :D

Hmm, he's being awfully friendly for a Demon Prince. It is obviously an infernal trap!! :p

Hmm...feat based psionic system. Personally I just want to transfer all of the CLimb Walls and such Psi feats into a Martial Arts kinda of feat list....make it easy for monks to get and others can eventually earn them. WHen Complete Psionics first came out I made MANY Crouching Tiger type Psi Warriors heh. Was loads of fun. I also made a combination of the Psi Warrior and Monk so that everything fit my conception of it all better. I've always thought that monks with a bit of Psi power and crazy abilities were pretty cool and no it was not a straight combination where you were just insanely uber *grin* I toned some of the monk stuff down a bit, added some psionic abilities and feats and bam. Maybe I'll have to post it sometime

Since when does Climb Walls fall under the traditional concept of psychic powers?

We're talking Astral Projection, Empaths, Precog, Pyrokinesis, Second Sight, Psychic Sensitivit, Channeling, TK & Telepathy. :)

I think SSquirrel means this:
Up the Walls [Psionic]

Prerequisite: Wis 13+, Speed of Thought, Psionic Charge, reserve power points 5+.

Benefit: The character can take part of one of his or her move actions on a wall if the character begins and end the move on a horizontal surface. The height the character can achieve on the wall is limited only by this movement restriction. If the character does not end his or her move on a horizontal surface, he or she falls prone, taking damage as appropriate for his or her height above the floor. Treat the wall as a normal floor for the purposes of measuring movement. Passing the boundary between horizontal and vertical is equivalent to 5 feet of movement along a normal floor. Opponents on the floor still get attacks of opportunity as the character moves up the wall within areas they threaten.

Special: A character can take other move actions in conjunction with moving on a wall.

I know, and it was unrelated to my post.

I was referring to a Feat based psionic system ala CoC, Star Wars (sort of), Ken Hood's or Psychic's Handbook.

The poster in question was referring to psychic feats that go along with The PsiHB's spell point system.

While I am not a PsiHB "hater", I don't generally think of it as a "low magic" alternative (nor particularly representative of psychic phenomena as presented in literature/mythology).

But that is cooking another kettle of kender entirely...
