Gaining temp HP while at negative hp?

Ok say my infernal warlock uses his rod of corruption to curse 3 minions and is then reduced to negative hp. so now i'm out cold and another party member kills a minion? do i wake up? or do i have to wait for real healing?

If you're on 0 hp, you have the dying condition.

Temporary hit points aren't real hp, so you still have 0 hp and the dying condition.

You're going to need real healing.

But you would still gain the temporary HP, right?

Yes, as far as I am aware. And they could shield you from any effects dipping into your negative bloodied pool of hp.
