So my roommate and I sat down to watch this tonight...and the scean came up with arya and syrio...and when he stood there with that smile, my roommate said "so how many levels of badass do you think the dancing instructer has" by the end of the scean we both agreed... ALL OF THEM..

I did feel that they missed a golden opportunity with Rob though...after letting the boy go and saying they were going for the father... I would have waited till the boy left then said "Jamie it is"

All in all I like the show, and really like that the supernatural is more around us now. I do hope those dragon eggs do something

[sblock=crazy theory]
I still think they may really be dragon eggs that can hatch... I orginaly thought that assassin would be stopped by drego, but he would be fatal wounded...Dany would be so overcome with grief that she throws there wedding gifts into his funeral pyre... and poof 3 dragons... then we could get the 3 best dethroky horse lords and make them dragon riders...

but that may be a bit much for what has so far been a pretty low key story

Love, love, LOVED Syrio. Easily one of my favorite characters in general, and my favorite of Arya's many mentors.

Well, Robb's got a strategy in mind, but I don't know how much we'll see it made explicit and how much will be on background. The key for right now is trying to get the "late" Walder Frey to let him by the Twins, as they discussed last night.

Yes, that is a crazy, crazy theory. An author would have to be mad to do anything even remotely resembling that!

Oh man steamrolling to the ending... I think they didn't make a convincing case for Khal Drogo to accept the Lamb medicine woman's help. Dude you just slaughtered all her tribe!

Was hoping to see a little more of Jamie, and what happened to zombie #2?

By the way, the ep was written by George RR Martin.

[sblock]Reading the books almost makes the anticipation for what comes in the next episode worse. I don't want Ned to die![/sblock]

If you haven't read the books, BEWARE spoiler tags.

Sometimes they refer to things that happened in past episodes and how they affect future things, sometimes they spoil KEY future events.

Read at your own risk! :D

And, let me add, that if you get emails of new posts, the spoilers are NOT hidden, so I'd recommend clicking the link and immediately deleting the email unread in order to avoid being spoiled.

One disadvantage of compressing the rest of the book's events into these last few episodes is that you get none of the sense of scale - especially timescale - in regards to mobilising these armies. It's like Robb wakes up one day, decides to build an army, then turns up a day later at the Neck with twenty thousand soldiers.
