Game Preserve

Odovacar's Ghost

First Post
Yesterday I drove ALL THE WAY to greenwood to buy a few games.

I bought Descent: Journey in the Dark and Powergrid.

Descent, is mostly a dungeon crawl type of game (lots o dice). Powergrid is more of a heavy strategy non-dice rolling game.

But, I only saw ONE conan item there. Shadizar. That was it. It was located in the "No one wants/cares" section of the place.

How large is the Conan game here in Indiana. It seems that it has a very small following.

I'll probably just order the books online, even thought I hate doing this. I rather just buy them in the store (support the local cummunity).

I don't think it has much presence in Indiana. The comic book stores in Greenwood carry more of the Conan line than the game stores. The last time I was in Greenwood it seemed like all the comic book stores carried the entire line, but the game stores did not.

Comic Carnival is in the Wal-Mart shopping center up towards Southport on 31. It's that large shopping center on the right just past the Hooters, Outback, and IHOP with the Wal-Mart in it. I don't know where any others are in Greenwood anymore.

Okay, do any of those cater to the Conan RPG?
