Hello!

I haven't been to ENWorld in quite a while. This forum seems active and I hope to engage readers with the process of my world creation. I am using ideas from all the editions of D&D to create something new, compatible, and most of all fun. I am a longtime rpg player and I love tinkering and creating to have just the right game.

What are your favorite rules(or lack of rule) of the edition(s) you play?

I am exploring my favorite parts of all the editions on my blog at Gritty Fantasy

I take people who are enthusiastic about various aspects of mortal life and then make them as dickish as possible.

I'm going for a Greco-Roman vibe.

How do you create your deities? Do you use gods from a setting? Tell me more!

I've created most of my own deities for my homebrew campaigned world. I've created them to fit most of the common portfolios, as well as tailored made some of them to what specific players were looking for in a god.

I'm right there with you. Portfolios, spheres, areas of influence. Have you found a way for your homebrew deities to make sense in your world?

I am researching how to create a credible legends and lore for my own homebrew. I would love to hear your thoughts.

In my world, gods are ppl who saw what is beyond. They are totally killable. That is, if you have seen it too. And they don't want you to see it, or to think that there is.

So yeah they are like normal ppl, just more powerful and have whatever comes with power.
