So...any ideas for RPG gaming or D&D themed number? (no phone letters-to-numbers codes; I hate those)
You could use product numbers (e.g., the Item Code for the Revised PHB is 175240000). Some obscure old RPG references are:
1889 - Space 1889
2448 - FTL:2448
2300 - Traveller 2300/2300 AD
2020 - Cyberpunk 2020
Another interesting one is:
2368 - The last four digits of the Ghostbusters' 555 phone number

And, any general advice for choosing a phone number?
Don't pick 837-5309 unless you want a lot of strangers calling you for
kicks. Don't pick any number that spells out an obscene word or looks
like a business's number. Don't pick a number with repeated digits
because if someone tries to type, say, 2314 and hits the "1" twice by
mistake, and your number is 2311, you'll get the wrong number call. Yeah,
I know many of the suggestions above contain repeated numbers.
