[QUOTE="Kristivas, post: 2691226, member: 34179"] Married to a non-gamer. I can't believe how many people say their S.O. 'tollerates' their gaming. Psh, if my wife didn't tollerate my gaming, we'd have a world of trouble here. She doesn't have to play or even like it, but the day I start getting dirty looks or comments or harassment because I've been playing or writing a campaign or somesuch, well.. someone'd be sleeping on the couch! I'm sure someone would then pose the question.. "So, is your gaming more important than how your wife feels?!" and I'd say no, but she married a gamer and knew so ahead of time. She already had a chance to back out lol. As long as it's not drugs, getting trashed every weekend, dangerous, life-threatening, hurting anyone, or spending more than.. say.. $50 a week on it, then I better not get any lip lol. Especially since she's a World of Warcraft addict :P But yeah, she knows how much I love playing DnD. Surgery? hahaha didn't stop me from playing DnD games on my PC or EverQuest, I can rest when I'm dead afterall! Bribe me with sex? yar yar I can do that any time, with or without you! About the only thing I'd rather be doing than DnD is spendin' time with the little ones, but after a week of being a stay-home Dad, you're darn right I'm out the door on a Friday night to game faster than my wife can say "be home before 3 am!" (which I'm usually not haha). .....I really shouldn't make posts at 2:30 in the morning. It's going to seriously get me into trouble one day..... Oh, and I wasn't socially inept during my formative gaming years, either. Even though EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND and most of the entire summer time I was having DnD marathons with my friends, I still had time for a little action. I might not have had a girlfriend all the time, but I'd like to think I did ok for myself. Better than most of the other guys in my group, but not as good as my friends Matt or Shane.
