Gamespy names WoW Game of the Year

Gamespy's choice was Halo 2, which didn't even win Best Xbox GotY for Gamespot.com. (lost out to Burnout 3: Takedown)

Can't say that I disagree with either site. IMO, World of Warcraft is one of the greatest PC games ever made. It's a game that I know that I'll playing for a good long time.

Anyways, thanks for the links, Krug. I didn't know that WoW won those awards because, ironically enough, I spend almost all of my free time playing the game so I haven't read many gaming sites over the last month.

Looking through the list you linked to at Gamespot I only saw two games I've played (though I plan to get a few more, possibly soon).
