I try not to snack at all, but when I do...I opt for healthly.

It is not because I want to, but because I need to.

Cheers.

I'm somewhere in between the first two. I try to eat some healthy snacks when I can, but I also eat lots of junk that I don't normally eat too.

Healthy for me is steak and potatoes with some veggies on the side.

Game nights are always fast food, or if we are at my brother's place, grilled steaks but no veggies.:)

Generally I eat well, but during a game I'm in the mood for junk... Only one problem though: I usually DM, and with all the books, paperwork and keeping the attention of my players--I rarely have time to eat (let alone keep the crumbs outta my stuff if I do eat).

Maybe a DM's bib would help! LOL

If its a long game, we sometime take a break for more elaborate snacking. That usually allows us to engorge ourselves on something more nutritious.

Why is the nutritious food more messy to eat, takes longer to prepare, and is often more expensive? :(

As a DM, I burn alot of energy in a 6 hour session, so I'm always on the lookout for highly convenient, energizing food... Junk seems to work--and tastes good too! :)

For the most part I try to eat healthy. The last couple of months I have been on the Subway diet like Jared. But when gameday comes all hell breaks loose. My gaming group can eat through anything that is placed in front of us. As long as it is edible we eat it. We try to usually have healthy things there, like carrots, broccoli and coliflower. But there is always junk food and the junk food always gets eaten before the healthy stuff. Except the carrots.

We usually eat pretty well -- my wife didn't have to change her diet at all for pregnancy and I'm usually even better (I just need to find time to exercise).

Game nights, she and I try to do apples, etc., but everyone else brings Funyuns, pop, Rice Crispy treats, etc. Those are just _so_good_.
