Well, my partner knows what it is, doesn't understand the attraction, but is cool with it. He'll even ask how a session went, and listen attentively while I gush about it. It doesn't make any difference if I explain what things mean (monsters etc) or not. I think it is very sweet that he will pretend to be interested for me, even after all these years.

He's never going to game, but he's pretty darn good anyway :)

He does raise his eyebrows a bit at the number of books I buy though - fair enough I admit.

My first wife is a gamer. I GM'd for her many times.

My wife is not a gamer but she is supportive of my hobby. She has bought me gaming items as gifts. Heck, she let me spend $180 of our honeymoon money on gaming stuff. I got to go to a gaming store on my honeymoon. :) She has sat in on a few games. Mostly to see the interaction between the players and toss in the occasional humorous comment.

Now if I only had a game at the moment... :(

My wife games with me, but she's not as obsessed as I am. (I'm the most into it of anyone I know, though I don't hold a candle to some of the people on ENworld...)

My ex-wife is still pretty much my SO. Well, moreso than anyone else. She's ok with me gaming. Makes time to watch the daughter so I can do it (well, for the one session I've gone to in 2-3 years). She used to be in my gaming group, but she's never really have the fever for it. Kind of take-it-or-leave-it.
