Gaming Podcasts

Currently I listed to the following gaming-related podcasts:
Dragon's Landing Podcast
Ogre Cave Report
The RPG Publishing Gauntlet

Can you recommend other good gaming podcasts? I am especially looking for those with industry news and commentary, not so much the "this is us playing" type, though I'll check them all out equally. Ogre Cave is really good about industry news and commentary, but it is very erratic, while the RPG Gauntlet is interesting if a little disjointed.

So, suggest away, please!

No, but I'll check it out now, thanks.

I went to iTunes and searched for RPG, and from among the hits, I picked up RPG Showcase. It was short and interesting, and the host talks a mile a minute though not annoyingly, which suits me just fine as he crams a lot of info in 30-40 mins.

Dragons Landing is easily the best of them. Best production values and more RPG focussed. Chuck and Lonnie are good friends and work well together.

Ogre Cave seems so miniatures focussed to the point where RPGs are ignored by them. I do like the commentary of the store owner from Oakland on the show though - his comments often seem on the mark.

I've been listening to several of 'em. There are bunches of the "listen to us playing" shows that I find pretty useless.

As for real shows, I think Dragon's Landing is leading the pack by a LONG stretch.

Other, generally geeky, genre-related podcasts that I like:

www.rpgshowcase.com -- News and reviews by a guy named Mike Conway.

www.dragonpage.com -- Mostly sci-fi and fantasy review and stuff.

www.geekfuactiongrip.com -- Super popular one by a woman named Mur Lafferty, who I think was the first real standout in this new field.

www.fanboyradio.com -- This is a comic book radio show broadcast in TX, and available online. If you're into comics, it's great!

There was another sci-fi one done by a bunch of guys from LA, who are all breaking into the movie biz, but I can't remember the name of that one. Or find it.

This whole thing is obviously in its infancy, and a lot of sludge is out there, very similar to when everybody started making their own web pages in the mid 90s. There's a lot out there that will undoubtedly fade away. Entertaining, informative folks with good radio voices and the right content mix will make it though.
